a powerful symbol of unity, hope and power

Earth Hour

2022

26 March 2022 | 8:30pm – 9.30pm SGT

Earth Hour is a powerful symbol of unity, hope and power in collective action. It is more than just an hour for the planet. It is a movement for our future.

Since its launch in 2007, Earth Hour has grown into one of the world’s largest grassroots environmental movements – giving people a powerful voice on climate and nature loss crises and highlighting the need for unified action.

Every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages millions of people in more than 180 countries and territories to play a part in shaping a new future for our planet by switching off their lights.

Earth Hour
in Singapore

In Singapore, Earth Hour has been celebrated physically and digitally over the years. Each year, we urge everyone to join in the movement to switch off, in solidarity with the planet.

Earth Hour brings individuals, schools, businesses and the government together to build a low-carbon, climate resilient nation.

Join us on 26 March, 8.30pm for the Earth Hour Switch Off.
